Deployment patterns

Patterns, not testimonials

In short

This site publishes no named customers, no logos, no testimonials and no performance figures, because none have been supplied for publication. What it publishes instead is how deployments of each kind are actually structured, and how their results are measured — which is more useful to an evaluator anyway.

Why

What a case study usually hides

  • A headline accuracy figure from another site tells you almost nothing about yours: camera height, angle, lighting and scene dominate the result.
  • A named logo establishes that a contract exists, not that the deployment achieved what the page implies.
  • Percentage improvements are rarely accompanied by the baseline they improved on, which is the number that actually matters.
  • The cameras that failed the readiness review never appear in the case study, and they are the ones that determine project cost.
  • The conditions under which the figures were gathered are usually the first thing omitted.

By sector

Deployment patterns

Airports

Terminal operations pattern

A screening-area queue measurement, a commercial dwell zone and an airside perimeter segment, delivered into the existing VMS and an operations dashboard.

Outcomes are measured against the terminal’s own baseline during the pilot. Ayonix does not publish performance figures from other airports, because terminal geometry, camera estate and passenger behaviour do not transfer between sites.

Railway and metro

Station control-room pattern

Density regions on platforms, stair approaches and concourse, gate-line counting, and schedule-aware restricted-area rules, delivered into the control room with automatic camera call-up.

Band thresholds are calibrated to your own stations during the pilot. Figures from other networks are not transferable, because platform geometry, timetable density and passenger behaviour differ substantially.

Smart cities

Urban mobility pattern

Directional vehicle and pedestrian counting at junctions, area occupancy in car parks, and density banding in public spaces, delivered as aggregate series to city platforms.

Counting accuracy is validated against manual counts on your own junctions during the pilot. Figures from other cities are not transferable because camera geometry, traffic mix and congestion patterns differ.

Retail

Store trading pattern

Entrance counting, checkout queue measurement, display dwell and a shop-floor heatmap, delivered to a retail dashboard with conversion where transaction data is joined.

Improvements are measured against your own pre-change baseline during the pilot. Ayonix publishes no uplift figures from other retailers, because store format, catchment and trading patterns do not transfer.

Shopping malls

Centre leasing and operations pattern

Complete entrance counting, inter-level route volumes, zone reach and occupancy thresholds, delivered to leasing, marketing and operations with documented coverage.

All figures are measured on your own centre. No footfall or reach benchmarks from other centres are published, because catchment, layout and anchor mix make them misleading.

Hospitality

Property public-area pattern

Reception queue measurement, lobby and lounge occupancy, restaurant entrance counting and event-space utilisation, with private areas excluded by design.

Staffing and utilisation improvements are measured against the property’s own baseline. No benchmarks from other properties are published.

Factories

Plant compliance pattern

Schedule-aware restricted-zone rules, perimeter detection and gate vehicle movement, recorded in full and notified on exceptions only.

Nuisance-alarm reduction and entry recall are measured against your own plant baseline during the pilot. No figures from other plants are published.

Warehouses and logistics

Depot yard pattern

Bay occupancy and trailer dwell for the yard team, plus schedule-aware dock and perimeter security rules delivered to the VMS and monitoring centre.

Turnaround and occupancy accuracy are measured on your own yard during the pilot. Figures from other depots are not transferable because layout and camera geometry differ.

Construction

Active site pattern

Out-of-hours perimeter and compound rules with remote monitoring delivery, gate crossing timestamps for delivery reconciliation, and a scheduled zone re-verification cadence.

Detection performance is measured on your own site and re-measured after significant layout changes, because construction geometry does not stay constant.

Full sector detail →

Critical infrastructure

Isolated site pattern

Edge or air-gapped perimeter and restricted-area detection with local evidence, immutable audit logging and delivery into the isolated operations network.

Recall and irrelevant-alert rates are measured on your own sites under real night and weather conditions. No cross-site benchmarks are published.

Full sector detail →

Parking

Car park guidance pattern

Per-deck area occupancy driving entrance and deck signage, entry and exit counting, and restricted-bay dwell, with ANPR only where separately justified.

Occupancy accuracy is validated against a physical audit on your own site. No accuracy figures from other car parks are published, because camera height and layout determine the result.

Full sector detail →

Healthcare

Estate public-area pattern

Car park occupancy and entrance counting first, waiting-area occupancy where governance permits, and schedule-aware access rules on estates infrastructure.

All measurement is validated on your own site. No figures from other trusts or hospitals are published.

Full sector detail →

Education

Campus estate pattern

Out-of-hours perimeter detection, building entrance counting and doorway-derived space utilisation, with teaching spaces excluded by design.

Utilisation and detection performance are measured on your own campus. No cross-institution benchmarks are published.

Full sector detail →

Corporate buildings

Workplace utilisation pattern

Complete doorway counting per space, derived floor and room occupancy with scheduled resets, and out-of-hours access rules on plant areas.

Utilisation is measured on your own buildings with documented boundary completeness. No benchmarks from other estates are published.

Stadiums and events

Event-day pattern

Gate throughput counting during ingress, calibrated concourse density banding during the event, and zone occupancy against venue limits, with event-profile switching per fixture.

Bands are calibrated to your own venue and your own crowd-safety plan across multiple fixtures. No thresholds or figures from other venues are published.

Generate your own evidence

The only figures worth trusting are the ones measured on your cameras, in your conditions, against criteria you agreed in advance. That is what a controlled pilot produces.
