Find out what your camera can actually support
In short
Send a short sample of footage from the camera you care about and an Ayonix engineer will tell you what is achievable from that view, what is not, and whether a different camera position changes the answer. Footage is stored privately, deleted after seven days, and never used for training.
Handling
What happens to your footage
These are handling commitments, not aspirations. Each one is implemented in the upload path rather than described in a policy document.
- Footage is uploaded directly from your browser to a private storage bucket that is never publicly reachable.
- Object keys are randomly generated and unguessable; there is no public URL and no directory listing.
- Access is restricted to the named Ayonix engineers carrying out the assessment, and every access is logged.
- Footage is deleted automatically seven days after upload. Deletion is scheduled at upload time, not left to a manual process.
- You can request immediate deletion at any point before that, and receive confirmation when it has run.
- Footage is not used to train any model.
- No public facial recognition is run on submitted footage.
- Filenames are never recorded in analytics, and raw media never appears in application logs.
- File type is validated by extension, declared MIME type and file signature. Anything that fails is rejected before storage.
Preparation
Before you send anything
- Confirm you are authorised to share the footage. If it contains identifiable people, check your own lawful basis for sharing it first.
- Send the shortest clip that shows the situation — two to five minutes is usually more useful than an hour.
- Include the worst realistic conditions rather than the best: a wet night tells us far more than a clear afternoon.
- Tell us the camera height and angle. Without that, an assessment can describe what the footage shows but not what a different position would change.
- Say what decision the assessment should support, so the answer addresses your question rather than a general one.

Submit the request first. An engineer confirms it and sends a secure upload link so footage is only transferred once the request is accepted.
Frequently asked questions
What will the assessment tell me?
Whether the analytic you are interested in is achievable from that camera view, what would limit it, and whether a different camera position or setting would change the answer. Where the honest answer is that the view cannot support the rule, you get that answer rather than a pilot proposal.
Is my footage used for training?
No. It is used for the assessment you requested and deleted after seven days. Training use is excluded, and that exclusion is a term of the handling agreement rather than a preference.
What if the footage contains identifiable people?
Most CCTV does. You remain the controller of that footage and need your own lawful basis for sharing it. Ayonix processes it only for the assessment, under the handling terms above. If you would rather not share identifiable footage at all, a description of the camera position plus a still frame is often enough for an initial view.
Can an AI agent upload footage for me?
No. The WebMCP tools on this site can prepare and submit an assessment request, but file selection and upload always require you to choose the file yourself in the page. An agent cannot select, read or upload a file on your behalf.
